The painting \u003cstrong\u003ereflects a longstanding devotion to Mary as Mother of Good Counsel\u003c\/strong\u003e, a title known since the Middle Ages and cherished by many saints and popes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt the heart of the composition stands the \u003cstrong\u003eVirgin Mary\u003c\/strong\u003e with the \u003cstrong\u003eChrist Child\u003c\/strong\u003e, enthroned within an ornate architectural setting filled with delicate decorative elements. Kneeling in reverence beside her are two great Jesuit saints. On her right is \u003cstrong\u003eSaint Francis Xavier\u003c\/strong\u003e, the renowned missionary whose preaching carried the Gospel across Asia. On her left is \u003cstrong\u003eSaint Aloysius Gonzaga\u003c\/strong\u003e, the youthful Jesuit known for his purity of life and deep devotion.
